Nathaniel David Becker is an American actor best known for his role as Jonathon in the movie Were the World Mine.
Raised in Yankton, South Dakota, Becker was born in Iowa City, Iowa. His parents lived in smaller North Liberty, later in Pella, Iowa. Born on September 11, he is a Virgo and the middle of three sons. Nate played many sports growing up but took a liking to film, theatre and other art forms in his early teens, beginning with a fascination of the horror genre in middle school. He started singing at age 15 with his musical debut in his high school's production of South Pacific. His musical education consists of choral and "a lot of musical theatre."
Becker had never been on a plane before his move from Yankton to New York City. There he studied acting and film for several years before landing the role of Jonathon in Were The World Mine, marking his feature debut. Work shortly followed in commercial campaigns for Virgin Mobile. Becker has lived in 4 of the 5 boroughs, including Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx. Continuing his studies and writing his own works for the screen, Nate presently lives New York City. "[1]
